Doulton Taste® Replacement Filter – How it works:
All bottles are equipped with the advanced Doulton Taste® replacement filter.
Except for its pore size 1 micron, the filter material follows a positively charged electrosorption process (attraction and retention) to attract and trap harmful agents much smaller than the pore size.
Laboratory tests proved the removal of 99,994% of e-coli, 99,9999% of cryptosporidium and giardia lamblia, the bacteria widely found in lakes, streams and other open water sources.
They are made from a custom blend of plastics that have passed rigorous testing SGS, for food contact safety, from FDA.
The bottle cap is made of Tritan®, a transparent hard plastic BPA free, renowned for its durability.
The Doulton Taste peach water filter also allows the user to see the water filtration process in action.
The body of the bottle is made of ultra-lightweight polypropylene material commonly used in food storage containers. Due to the material's resistance to high temperatures, it does not emit chemicals or odors.
